Have you ever wondered why so many of your reader unsubscriber from you opt-in email list? After speaking with many satisfied opt-in list subscribers, I have come to realize that what is essential in opt-in marketing and what makes the subscribers begging for more instead of lining up to unsubscribe. Here are some tips that will help you keep your subscribers: 1) Try to keep all of your promotional materials original, creative and light. Many people are stressed out getting stuffy business proposals. Light hearted e-mails that are warm and friendly are always more welcome than a serious business meeting or proposal type emails. While you do want your customers to take you and your products and services seriously, you also want to show them that you know how enjoy yourself. 2) Put a little color in your emails. You can provide photos and articles that can be related to you and your products or services but show good news or good light hearted images as well. Allow your e-zine and/or promotional materials to keep them in a light mood. Make sure your materials eye catching. 3) Give your opt-in email list subscribers good content and articles. This may mean investing in an experienced and professional copy writer to write them for you. Having an effective copy writer will be allow you to build trust between you and your subscribers. A good copy writer will be able to establish your credibility in what they write. Again, make sure it is informative yet not too stuffy. Good articles and content should be able to outline the benefits of your product and services and why they need what you are offering. But do not look to be overeager and too persuasive. It should be able to entertain as well as lead them to buying from you. The promotional materials you provide opt-in email list subscriber should be clear and concise. You don't want to leave people guessing about what you offering. This mean that you should lead them to you and not vice versa. You will need to explain to them what they need to do in a way that won't be confusing to them. Do your best to anticipate what your reader needs. Make sure you do your research and information gathering. There are many sites that can help you with that. 4) Finally, provide your readers with clear and crisp images of what you are offering. If the reader knows what you have for them, they are more likely to want more. For example, if you are selling a e-book, provide them cover photos that will encourage them to go to your site for more information on your product. Just remember that you opt-in email list is one of the most valuable tools an internet marketer has to build and maintain his or her business. Keep your readers happy by providing good content and they will keep you happy by continuing to buy from you.
