How Can You Maintain Your List Of Subscribers

Creating a newsletter has many, many advantages. You'll be able to follow-up on current customers but also get potential customers interested and kick them off the fence.

So in other words, it promotes your business and help you sell more and more products because of the trust relation you are building up.

I got no inspiration. What should I talk about?

You ultimate purpose is to create customers. And truck loads of them! It's a simple fact, but very true.

First of all don't be boring. Write with some flair and passion while staying informative. And before you think this means boring you are very wrong! Also don't use hype. Don't be afraid to add your own personality in the mix (unless you have the personality of a coffee pot. In which case it's better to hire a writer).

Do you have products to offer? Tell them about it. Tell them about updates, discounts and even new ones you added to the store. Just keep them interested.

But my ezine, newsletter or whatever I want to put out what about it?

You have to avoid making people think you are spamming the living daylight out of them.

For instance using html messages is, in my opinion, a big no, no.

Keep sending your newsletter at a fixed time. Don't mail 6 days in a row, and then forget to mail for 2 weeks. People will not like it and it boosts your unsubscribe rate. And you want to boost your read rate and subscribe rate instead agreed?

What's more, it's really important you give your readers a way to get out of your mailinglist if they do not like the content.

This truly spares a lot of troubles in the longer term. You'll want to avoid those at all costs. What troubles? Think spam complaints, black listing issues and what more. Terrible.

How should I promote it?

You definitely want people to read your messages right? But what is the correct way to go at it? After all, there are a million and one ways to do it.

The easiest way, by far, is probably ezine advertising. It works like this:

Look for a list owner who sells spots in his emails. Then you send them money, and they'll list your ad. It's as simple as that. Really.

Do contact the list owners first. You want to be sure your ad gets placed. Ask them any question.

The advantage of this is that this person probably spent a lot of time building and cultivating this list. And then they give you the opportunity to tap into it. It's a no-brainer and helps you concentrate on more important stuff like making money of your list.

Take note of this: Don't give your subscribers away to someone else. If you are reading this article, you want to build your own list. So do that. And keep the profits yourself.

When it's sent, make sure you keep on checking your statistics. After all, you want to know which ezine is the winner and which not right? Then you know exactly which ezines to focus on in the end.
